Infiniband Cables

XENON distributes and integrates Mellanox cables into their HPC clustering solutions. Mellanox cables are a cost effective solution for connecting InfiniBand and 10GBASE-CX4 fabrics, extending the benefits of Mellanox’s high-performance InfiniBand HCAs and 10 Gigabit Ethernet NICs throughout the network. These cables meet or exceed the IBTA and IEEE standards, and have been rigorously tested with all Mellanox products.

Mellanox passive copper cables provide robust connections up to eight meters in length and require no power from the connector. Mellanox active cables are a thinner alternative to the passive six and eight meter cables, and are available up to 15 meters in length. All cables have easy to read serial numbers printed at each end to facilitate installation and network debug.
