COVID-19 has changed how and where we work, but it has not changed why we work. It has not changed our optimism and belief that technology has a positive impact in the world. Even in these challenging days, we see opportunities for innovation and have doubled down on our efforts to assist our customers with great new solutions that make a difference.


Many of our customers are at the forefront of medical research and health science and COVID-19 has obviously created a tsunami of work for them. We have ramped up our Managed Services in response to customer’s requirements, and the team is working diligently to support increased demands on our customer’s infrastructure. Recent projects include designing and orchestrating cloud workloads, testing DR, redundancy and resiliency of systems. All of this work is done remotely, and we’re here to assist you with any of these requirements, just reach out to your account manager or get in touch via our website.


Our production facility in Melbourne is still humming with new servers being built and burned in. Luckily our new production room that was finished in January allows plenty of room for the team to spread out! Our supply chain has been impacted by the closures in China – especially Intel CPUs have been in short supply since November last year. But we are working through these backlogs as fast as we can.

The Team

The XENON sales team continues to be very busy, with new solutions being architected and proposed in more virtual meetings and online conferences. Most of us have been working flexibly and remotely for years, so this is just another day in the (home) office for us. For some good tips on remote working, we recommend:

We are continuing to support and work with all our customers and finding low risk ways to work and collaborate online. The health of our customers, staff and community are foremost in our minds as we navigate the changes COVID-19 brings.

Physical office hours remain the same currently, 9am to 6pm, with a small number of the team choosing to work from the office, and we are all contactable on phone and email as always.
